We are a latin and salsa band based in the South West, drawing on some of the top talent in the UK. We offer an full dance band with afro-cuban rhythm section for our own version of salsa, latin and jazz grooves as well as a smaller band for cool, ambient latin jazz at functions and events. We play original music written by composer, sax player and band leader Norma Daykin as well as well known latin favourites. We work with dancers and we understand how to deliver real dance music as well as top notch jazz.
Whether you and your guests want to dance the night away or just listen to some of the coolest sounds from some of the best players around then we can make your event a celebration to remember.
The full line up includes: Norma Daykin & Emily Preston (saxes); Ben Thomas (trumpet); Sav Pacini (trombone); Sol Ahmed (bass); Jim Blomfield (piano); Lisa Cherian (congas); Myke Vince (timbales); Lorraine Ayensu (percussion and vocals).
